CelAction open over holidays
As usual, CelAction will be open between Christmas and New Year, supporting our customers whose deadlines don't match with big companies' ideas of when holidays should be. Stand by for an amazing year in 2016, we have some very cool things lined up for you!
Sarah & Duck wins Radio Times award
Sarah & Duck by Karrot Entertainment fought against stiff competition to win the Radio Times Children's TV Show Champion 2015 award. In fact, 3 out of the 4 finalists were made using CelAction2D, Charlie & Lola and Mr Bean - The Animated Series were also runners-up.

Children's BAFTA nominations for CelAction2D-made productions!
We've had one of our best years ever for Children's BAFTA nominations! In the Children's Animation category we have Mr. Bean The Animated Series from Tiger Aspect, in the Pre-School Animation category we have Lily's Driftwood Bay by Sixteen South and Peppa Pig by Astley Baker Davies, and finally in the Writing category we have Peppa Pig and Horrible Histories. The award ceremony will be held on 22nd November 2015.

The Day Henry Met... by Wiggleywoo Productions has won the Pulcinella award for Best European Work at Cartoons On The Bay, held in Venice on the 16th-18th April.
Have I Got Titles For You
The BBC's flagship news satire show Have I Got News For You has always had traditionally animated titles. For the new series, and for the very first time, this iconic title sequence features animation done using CelAction2D. You can't tell where the traditional animation ends and the CelAction2D animation begins. We're changing the way people think about drawn animation. Watch out for more examples of our new technology later this year.

Horrible Histories has won Best One-Off, Special Or TV Movie award in the Tweens/Teens category at the Kidscreen Awards held in New York in February. It also won the Best Acting, Best Writing and Best Directing awards.

Mr. Bean returns!
Mr. Bean - The Animated Series by Tiger Aspect Productions starts broadcasting a new series on CITV on 16th February 2015 at .9.25am. This second series was animated using CelAction2D software.
Peppa Pig in cinemas!
Peppa Pig - The Golden Boots by Astley Baker Davies will be shown in UK cinemas during half-term, starting Febraury 14th. It is a special 15-minute episode, and will be shown alongside some regular episodes.

Messages Dans L'Air wins at Solothurn
Messages Dans L'Air by Isabelle Favez has won the 2nd Prize of the Lauréats Concours for best animated film at the Solothurn Film Festival held on 22nd-29th January 2015.
Nelly & Nora premieres
Nelly & Nora by Geronimo Productions premieres on RTÉjr on Monday February 2nd at 2.55pm.
Happy New Year!
Well, 2014 was a game-changer for the entire animation industry, and CelAction was right at the centre of it!
We released an affordable tool for professional storyboarding, CelAction Animatic, based on what working storyboarders really need in their software. We joined forces with Digital Video to resell and market the amazing Toonz Harlequin and Toonz Bravo packages. So now animators have a real choice for all aspects of 2D animation production.
In 2015, the world will see the results of our Vectrinsic technology when the new series of Mr. Bean - The Animated Adventures hits TV screens everywhere. We've been lucky enough to see a sneak peak of some episodes, and we can confirm that this series will be amazing.
Version 4 of CelAction2D just gets better and better - one of the advantages of being a truly independent company is that we are free to release a new version when we want to, when we think it's ready, not by the end of a financial year or before an earnings report to make share prices rise. Version 4 is going to be special, very special, so watch this space!
