CelAction open over holidays

As usual, CelAction will be open between Christmas and New Year, supporting animators whose deadlines don't match with big companies' ideas of when holidays should be. 2017 will be an important milestone for us, and we will make it a very special year for our clients too!

Children's BAFTA nominations for CelAction2D-made productions!

Sarah & Duck by Karrot Entertainment has been nominated in the Pre-School Animation category at the Children's BAFTAs! Karrot Entertainment and Sixteen South have also been nominated for the Independent Production Company award. The award ceremony will be held on 20th November 2016.

Happy New Year!

We went from strength to strength in 2015, forging ever stronger links with great companies like Adobe and TVPaint, while our competitors downsized and stagnated.

Vectrinsic has been a huge success, and the improvements we have made to it during and after production of Mr. Bean have cemented our place at the cutting edge of 2D animation technology. The projects our clients are working on now using second-generation Vectrinsic are truly mind-blowing.

But we haven't neglected the rest of CelAction2D - in the next few months we will be showing major new features, plus lots of little ones that speed up workflow in ways you didn't even think could be sped up. We're lucky to have some of the best studios and animators in the world working with our software, and the techniques they are helping us develop will benefit the entire industry.
