CelAction open over holidays
As usual, CelAction will be open between Christmas and New Year.
Bluey wins BAFTA!
Bluey by Ludo Productions has won the International category of the Children & Young People's BAFTA awards, held in London on the 27th November.
Corpse Talk nominated for Rose D'Or
Corpse Talk by Tiger Aspect has been nominated in the Multiplatform Series category for the Rose d'Or awards 2022, to be held on November 28th in London.
CelAction2D is 25 today!
CelAction2D began life on 7th November 1997, and so is 25 years old today. We're planning to make 2023 the year we celebrate this milestone, so watch this space for more details!

Sol by Paper Owl Films has won the Children's/Animation award at the RTS Northern Ireland Awards 2022 held on May 26th 2022.
Giuseppe in Annecy
Giuseppe by Isabelle Favez is in competition at the Annecy festival to be held in France on June 13th-18th 2022. There is also a retrospective of Favez's work featuring several films made in CelAction2D.

Nana's Terrifying Zoom Call by Wiggleywoo has been nominated in the Upper Preschool TV Series (4-6 years) category at the Cartoons On The Bay Pulcinella awards to be held on June 1st-5th 2022.

Giuseppe by Isabelle Favez has won the Tricks for Kids Audience Award at the 29th Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film held on May 7th 2022.

The Rubbish World of Dave Spud by The Illuminated Film Company has won the Children's Category at the Royal Television Society Awards 2022!
Ladybird & Bee nominated for Irish RTS award
Ladybird & Bee by Paper Owl Films has been nominated in the Animation Category at the Royal Television Society Ireland Television Awards 2022 to be held on Tuesday 12th April.
Dave Spud nominated for RTS award
The Rubbish World of Dave Spud by The Illuminated Film Company has been nominated in the Children's Category at the Royal Television Society Awards 2022 to be held on Tuesday 29th March.

Sol by Paper Owl Films and Love Monster by Boat Rocker Studios have been nominated for Best Original Music and The Rubbish World of Dave Spud by The Illuminated Film Company has been nominated for Best Use Of Sound and the Writer's Award at the British Animation Awards 2022 to be held on Thursday 10th March. In addition, two people we are proud to have worked with are nominated for the Lamb Award - Hodan Abdi and Teifi Cadwallader.

The Rubbish World Of Dave Spud by The Illuminated Film Company has been nominated in the Best Children's Programme category of the 2022 Broadcast Awards. The ceremony will be held in London on 10th February 2022.
New Year message
We made good use of the extra time gained from the lack of in-person events in 2021. We've been working on some great new features for our software, and forging new relationships worldwide, to enable us to expand our reach and capabilities to new territories and enhance our presence in existing ones.
Did you know that in 2022 it will be CelAction2D's 25th anniversary? And in all that time, we've never had a change of ownership or management - just steady, consistent growth and success. Which is what we wish for all our clients.
